Kelly's Room--Before and After
This is Kelly's room before and after. I bought that black dresser for ten bucks at a flea market and painted it. I painted the floor. I bought the orange spaghetti lamp at a garage sale for twenty-five cents. The metal headboard also came from a garage sale or flea market and I painted that too. It's old. It looks like a hospital bed, doesn't it? I have the footboard as well; just have to find the time to paint it. My sister chipped in and bought her the black velvet drapes, bedspread and vanity. I have a good sister.

Wow, what a difference. I'm sure she loves her new bedroom. Very chic. Great finds at the garage sales and flea markets too!
You have a really good eye for color and balance in a space. My MIL painted a room in her house a pink color and it is eye bleedingly brash and makes the little room absolutely closed in. This is a bright color, but won't make you dizzy:)
This looks fantastic!
wow, that turned out great! i love what you did and awesome find on the 10 dollar dresser...looks like a million bucks!
Wow! I love it!!!! Makeovers on the cheap are the best. And sisters are the greatest.
You have worked really really hard at that! And it looks great! I would never have chosen that colour scheme, but it looks terrific!
That is lovely. Very enticing!
You have a great eye for color and design - surely you've thought of adding interior design consulting to Kurt's flooring business? Hot pink and black - what a combination!
Fantastic makeover! You have a bold eye for color combinations and really pulled this off beautifully.
My two daughters would love to have a room like that. You do have an eye for color. It looks like something from a magazine :)
Looks great!
That looks really good!I wish I had your decorating skills!!
Fantastic, Debi! I really admire your color and design boldness--not many people could have pulled off that color combination, but you did. I'm with Jeff---you should go into interior design consultation.
I love what you did with your kitchen, too. I really like that vintage wallpaper. Where did you get it?
