- Greener Pastures--A City Girl Goes Country
- I was born in an inner city. It took me 43 years to become a country girl, but here I am. Now I spend my days riding and writing. My work has appeared in Mid-American Review, Horse News, Horse Illustrated, California Horse Review, The Franklin News-Post, The Courier, Asbury Park Press, Pet Tales and other places. I won the New Jersey Library Association Writers Contest about what the library means to me, was a runner-up in Mademoiselle's annual short story contest, and won the talent award in the Miss Middletown Beauty Pageant by reading one of my stories.

Apparently Santa rides in a hot rod car in Christiansburg....
I saw Santa last night too.
He was cleaning the bathroom at Wal-mart. He had a white beard and mustache and told me he would be busy today delivering presents. Later, as he clocked out of work to go home, he ho, ho, ho'd when he laughed. His nametag said, "Jerry," but I know better.
After decades of doubting, I now believe.
I think it's funny that Santa is walking in Walmart with a boy in overalls! Thats a country Santa!!
I didn't see him, but he was here at our house last nite and ate all the cookies we left for him.
