I'm not sure? glasses in the same pattern and they look even better in candlelight. Perhaps a candlelight cocktail with your Mister as you bring him over to the puffy picture loving dark side. We chuck out things - usually from our parents/aunts/uncles houses that we think are dreadful, and then a few years later we are kicking ourselves!

I know there are several things I would have kept, and when I think that my parents, in the 1950's actually paid someone to clear my grandfather's house, which was full of wonderful 1890 and turn of the century stuff, well, my heart just bleeds!

But those glasses are just beautiful!Gillyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00322140697547406511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1779328319254618990.post-61960133794535614622013-01-31T23:11:02.966-05:002013-01-31T23:11:02.966-05:00I just love all the old stuff but don't have m...I just love all the old stuff but don't have much of it. My mother was not a saver and she threw everything out. Those glasses remind me of ones my aunt had when I was a kid, might be the same company, I don't know. I'm sure your puffy pictures aren't ugly at all. The floor lamp you mention puts me in mind of ones my grandparents had. I think they got them with plaid stamps or s&h green stamps. I know my aunt had these startburst clocks and sconces she got with stamps. Wow, now I really sound old!Grey Horse Mattershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05837575441967937196noreply@blogger.com
